RULES OF THE SCHOOL

  • Students should attend the school in the prescribed uniform on all days
  • Students must wear their ID badge without fail.
  • The students must be in clean and well-dressed uniforms. Improperly dressed students will not be permitted to enter the class.
  • Shoes must be polished and socks must be clean.
  • Hairstyle: Boys: Length of hair not to exceed one inch. No spikes or gel. Hair must be well oiled and neatly combed.
    Girls: Those with short hair should have their hair oiled and held in place with black clips or hairbands.
    Those with longer hair should oil and plait (2plaits) their hair. Only black ribbons are to be used.
  • Students are prohibited from wearing costly jewellery while at school. Gold ornaments of any type, however small, should be avoided.
  • Every child should possess the school diary. The diary must be brought to the school every day. If it is lost by any chance, a new one should be purchased from the office by remitting Rs.100/- (rupees hundred only).
  • Students should not leave their classroom without the permission of the class teacher.
  • English should be the only language of communication within the school.
  • The school gate will be closed 9.00 a.m. Students will not be allowed to come in after the 9.00 bell.

GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS

Co-operation between parents and teachers is absolutely necessary for the integral development of the child. Therefore, parents and teachers are absolutely necessary for the integral development of the child. Therefore parents may note the following instructions carefully.

  • Parents are requested to check up the pupil’s diary and put their initials. They may check up the home assignment, late attendance record, teacher’s note to parents etc. Any communication made to the parents by the school should immediately be acknowledged and responded. This is for the welfare of the student.
  • Progress report will be handed over to the parents after each examination. They must carefully examine the grades and/or marks and do everything in their power to help their wards to overcome scholastic difficulties. Parents must make use of this opportunity to consult the teachers and share with them any problems connected with the child.
  • Kindly encourage and support your child to participate in extra-curricular activities, projects and field trips.
  • Remind your ward to pack the school bag before going to bed. Parents are not to send the books, notes, assignments or stationery forgotten by the child. Children should be taught to be responsible for their actions.
  • Please note the permissible food options and send only those items as snacks.
  • Send sufficient vegetables and fruits for lunch. Kindly avoid noodles.
  • Parents or guardians are not allowed to visit their wards or teachers in the classroom without the permission of the principal.
  • Parents should see that their children do not absent themselves except under unavoidable circumstances.
  • Prior information should be given to avail other leaves.
  • Permission to leave the school premises during working hours can be granted only by the principal on producing a letter of request from the parents. (only in case of emergency).
  • A minimum of 80% attendance is required for promotion. School timings: 9.00a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
  • Kindly ensure that fees are paid as scheduled. Defaulters in payment of fees will not be allowed to attend the school. Fees should be paid on or before the fifth working day of every month.
